Micaela Segura, Founder of Matriz Jaguar, is Certified Full Spectrum Doula

Community Herbalist, Artist, Mother to two young children, and a creative at heart.

Born and raised in Costa Rica, she grew up enjoying nature, music and community. She comes from a line of powerful women, who have been in deep service to their communities.

Her passion for birth as a transformative experience has guided her to facilitate and be of service to this space.

As a Full Spectrum Doula, she works to bring safety, respect and empowerment through education, emotional and practical support. Providing tools to empower and guide you in your birth experience, Deeply believing that birth can be Intuitive, and informed.

Currently serving the great Philadelphia area.

She attends births at home, birth centers, and hospitals.

Micaela has trained with other Latinx Birth Workers and midwives throughout her career, allowing her to expand her vision, approach and to incorporate traditional lines of care.
